So, I thought it might be fun to interview the kids about life in a camper. I loved hearing their different perspectives….
River:
What is your favorite part of life in a camper? Moving around.
What is your least favorite part of life in a camper? Small spaces.
If we could move back into our big house, would you want to? No!
Why not? Because! Moving around is super fun!
If you could change one thing about life in a camper, what would you change? I would want everyone to play dragons with me all the time.
Jake:
What is your favorite part of life in a camper? Being able to play outside, going different places, exploring the woods in all the new places, riding my bike.
What is your least favorite part of life in a camper? Sharing a room, because I can’t just run off by myself and play with legos or whatever.
If you could change one thing about life in a camper, what would it be? I’d like to have a full hookup all the time, and have more of my own space.
What are you the most excited about? Seeing different places. I really want to visit the military base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii and I’m excited about the Devil’s Tower in Wyoming. I also really want to see Death valley.
Is there anything you are nervous about? I’m kind of nervous about having bad neighbors, or the trailer tipping on the highway.
Is there anything else you’d like to say? I like life with less chores.
Asia:
What is your favorite part about living in a camper? How cooperative everyone is and how we have all learned to work together. And the adventure.
What is your least favorite part about living in a camper? Bedtime can be stressful. Trying to get four kids to bed in the same room at different times.
If you could change one thing about camp life what would it be? Being able to stay in the same camp spot for longer than two weeks at a time.
What are you the most excited about? Seeing my family in Washington and spending time with them, and I really want to see the sea glass beach in California.
Is there anything you are nervous about? Car rides with squabbling siblings and screaming bear (Micah).
Is there anything else you want to add? I think its cool that the things we get to do everyday are things people don’t usually get to do very often, like hiking, bike riding, playing in the creek, hanging out in our hammocks, making campfires and s’mores.
So beautifully said, love all their responses!
